Year 11 Parents Exam Information

Written examinations are almost upon us. Students are preparing themselves in all sorts of ways and are being supported and encouraged by their teachers and tutors and many support staff. A reminder that the Learning Resource Centre is open every Saturday until the end of this term from 10am to 2pm for quiet study and support; that there are exam briefing sessions for many subjects, about which students will be informed by their teachers ( copy also on web-site); that students can ask their teachers for any help they need. Students have recently been given information about a web-site which helps them organise their revision: www.myrevisionplan.co.uk.

Parents can help students by ensuring they have a quiet area in which to work, that they take regular breaks and that they are clear about their examination timetable. Students must be in good time for exams. If there any queries about the examination timetable, please contact Mrs Prescott, Examinations Officer.
We wish all our students the very best in their examinations. These examinations are the culmination of five years' work at Worle Community School and the years at primary schools. They are the stepping stones to the future. We look forward to the results day on August 24th and the celebrations that will ensue.
